Denielle Mizrah: “I can say personally a lot of my customers love that I’m here, ’cause sometimes they get sick of only seeing men.”
These days, South Floridians are lucky to be living in a beer lover’s paradise, where passionate local brewers craft a seemingly endless variety of IPAs, lagers, and experimental brews. A growing list of independent brewhouses are making some truly incredible suds, and while some breweries like to keep it traditional and true to style, others are working with unusual flavors and brewing methods.

“Great for Pairing With Food
If you enjoy pairing different wines with different meals, you’ll be happy to hear that you can do the same with craft beers. That’s because there are so many styles of artisanal beers on the market, each with its own unique flavor profile, that you can match them to each of your favorite types of food.
When you’re ready to try some of the best artisanal beers around, be sure to check out Yeasty Brews.”

“Yeasty Brews is located just outside of Oakland Park, in the neighboring district of Lauderhill. This brewery is a first for the city. It is part of the City of Lauderhill’s Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and Economic Development initiative to create a Commercial Arts and Entertainment District on NW 38th Avenue. This initiative includes over $4 million worth of investment for infrastructure improvements to the Arts District.”
“We were in the middle of construction when COVID-19 started to spread, which forced us to stop distribution and just focus on the taproom. We were finally able to open Dec 2020, after many shutdowns and delays. We could not be happier to have our dream taproom come to life after so much time and hard work. We run a small kitchen and taproom with eight rotating draft lines. We modeled our brewery after our love of Wynwood Miami, where art and culture is prevelant.”
“It is always fun getting to visit a new brewery. Even if I can’t stay for very long, just knowing it’s there and being able to walk in and patronize another outpost of craft beer is something that warms my heart.
Broward County just got this with the opening of Yeasty Brews, a fantastic new spot in Lauderhill. It’s just off State Road 7, anchoring and hopefully improving a strip mall that seems to have seen better days.”
“The humble beer can might make all the difference at Denielle Mizrahi’s new craft brewery and restaurant, Yeasty Brews Artisanal Beers in Lauderhill.
Mizrahi and her husband-business partner, Daniel Pfaffenbach, raced to install their beer-canning line early in the pandemic, sensing, wisely, that socially distanced drinkers would want Yeasty Brews to-go. Then, when hired contractors stopped showing up during lockdowns, the couple decided to build the taproom with help from friends, installing a bar, flooring and coats of black paint.”
